Overnight stay and breakfast in the hotel. Meeting with the English-speaking guide and visit to the Great Mosque of Muscat, which has become one of the symbolic monuments of the city, for its refined and elegant style.  Photo stop at the Opera House. Free lunch. Afternoon visit to the Bait Al Zubair Museum, photo stops at the Al Allam Palace and the Portuguese Forts Jalali and Mirani. Arrival at the Mutrah Souq and time available for visiting and shopping. I’m going back to the hotel. Free dinner and overnight stay. 

Breakfast, departure with off-road vehicles for the Batinah region, leaving the highway with an off-road route we will carry out the cross-mountain crossing Wadi Bani Awf you arrive at the “Snake Gorge” Canyon, an impressive fissure between dizzying walls. After various photo stops to admire the spectacular landscapes of the Hajar mountain ranges we arrive at Al Hamra and have free lunch.  Photo stop at the traditional village of Al Hamra, and walk among the palm grove and mud houses. We will then climb to Jabal Shams called “the mountain of the sun”, where the Grand Canyon of Oman is located. Dinner and overnight stay at Sama Height Resort in Jabal Shams in a mountain view room.  

 Breakfast, descending the mountain you arrive at Jabreen and visit the   fortified castle dating back to the 17th century, one of the most beautiful and refined in Oman. Panoramic photo stop in Bahla, the fortified city where the fort is located with the villages formerly protected by 12 km of walls. Bahla was the first site in Oman placed under the protection of UNESCO. Free lunch. Continue to Nizwa, the ancient capital of Oman from the 9th century. We will visit the Fort dating back to the 17th century with the even older adjacent castle, time available to visit the various souks and shopping opportunities.  Intercity hotel or other accommodation, dinner and overnight stay.

Breakfast and departure for Wadi Bani Khalid, visit to this splendid oasis, crossed by a perennial stream that forms waterfalls and lakes surrounded by date palms. Free lunch. Arrival in the Wahiba Sands desert and accommodation at Desert Night Camp 05* in a De Luxe Villa room.  In the afternoon dune bashing and finally you will reach the top of a dune to wait for the sunset with the spectacular colors. Dinner and overnight stay.

Breakfast, early departure for the crossing of the Wahiba Sands desert, with its breathtaking scenery. Photographic stops to admire dunes, infinite spaces and unexpected patches of vegetation that create incredible color contrasts, scattered here and there you can observe Bedouin settlements and dromedaries in their natural habitat. Free lunch. The crossing will end on the coast from where we will continue south. Stop in Bintawt to admire a landscape of extraordinary beauty made up of beaches with endless sand dunes. We will arrive in Duqm for a well-deserved rest after an intense but emotional day. Accommodation at the Crowne Plaza hotel or other, dinner and overnight stay.

Breakfast, departure for the south coast of Duqm, an area of ​​spectacular beauty characterized by very long beaches and incredible rock formations, which create almost unreal landscapes, where no one disturbs the quiet of these infinite spaces which give a sense of serenity far from the rhythms of modern civilization. Photographers will be able to delight in immortalizing natural scenarios of incomparable beauty from various perspectives. Free lunch. I’m going back to the hotel. Relaxing afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay.

Breakfast, departure northwards to Ras Ruwais. Stop to admire this beautiful beach with its natural rock formations. Free lunch. Driving along the coastal road you reach Ras Al Jinz, the protected marine nature reserve where turtles come to lay their eggs at night.  Accommodation at the Ras Al Jinz Turtle reserve located within the reserve in the carapace rooms. Dinner and overnight stay. Visit to the turtle beach with the park guides. Possibility of a second visit at dawn when it will be possible to take photos and videos. Entrance to the marine park included.  

Breakfast, departure for Sur visit to the capital of the southern Sharqiya region, famous for the “dhow” factory, the typical Omani boats, for the numerous small mosques that dot the city, for the inlaid doors a legacy of Oman’s past connection with Africa and for the internal natural lagoon that overlooks Ayjah, the original settlement of the city where the lighthouse is located. Arrival in Tiwi, to visit the beautiful oasis within a large valley, crossed by a watercourse. Continuation to the so-called Biman Sinkhole, a singular geological formation characterized by a crater in the ground formed by sinking, at the bottom of which there is a small lake with turquoise water. Free lunch. With an exciting off-road route, you cross Wadi Arbeen, one of the most spectacular wadis in Oman, with splendid landscape scenery. The wadi is crossed by a stream that forms waterfalls and natural lakes. Arrival in Muscat, end of the tour at the airport.
