Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival to Amman

Meet and great up on arrival at Queen Alia International Airport by Jordan Experience representative, process visa to Jordan and pick your luggage.  Drive to Amman for overnight

Day 2 – Amman – Cave of the Sleeper – Al Salt – Amman

After Breakfast:  drive for morning tour around Amman, then visit the Cave of the Sleepers: Maqam Hazrat Bilal Al Habashi : MaqamHazrat Abdul Rahman bin Auf (RA)

In the afternoon, continue to Al salt to visit Maqam Prophet Shoaib , Tomb of Prophet Ayyub and Maqam Hazrat Maysarah.  

Back to your hotel in Amman for overnight.

Day 3 –:  Amman – Mt. Nebo – Jordan Valley – Amman

 After breakfast:  Drive to visit Mount Nebo, the place where Moses buried. You will be lucky if the sky is clear enough; you will have a wonderful view up from the mountain seeing the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Jericho in the other bank of the Jordan River. Then continue to Jordan valley to visit the tomb of Abu baydah Amer bin Al-Jarrah, Muath bin Jabal, Shurahbil bin Hasna, Amer bin AbiWaqqas  Dirrar bin Al-Azwar

Back to your hotel in Amman for dinner & overnight

Day 4: Amman –Jerash – Ajloun – Irbid – Amman

After breakfast in hotel: Drive to visit Maqam Al Nabi Houd in Jerash, then drive to visit Maqam Ekramah bin Abi Jahel in Ajloun. Then short visit to Ajloun Castle. Before drive to Irbid where we will visit Maqam Abu Al Dardah.

Drive to Amman for overnight 

Day 5 Amman – Kerak – Almazar Al Janobi – Petra

 After breakfast:  drive to Kerak, to visit the tomb of  Nabi Noah, Al Khadir, Zaid bin Ali & Nabi Solaiman,

Continue to Al Mazar Al janobi to visit the tomb of Zaid Bin haretha, Mu’az bin Jabal, Ja’afar bin Abi Talib & Abdullah Bin Rawaha.

Back to your hotel in Petra for dinner & overnight.

Day 6:  Petra full day visit

After breakfast: pick up to visit Petra, there is no visit of Jordan will be complete without having seen the capital of the ancient Nabatean kingdom, Petra. The long-lost city of Petra, carved entirely by man into the rose-red sandstone rocks, puts your imagination to the test. Its aMystic and glorious place, an eternal tribute to a lost civilization. Petra was the central meeting point of the Nabatean spice routes which originated from the Persian Gulf, Western Arabia and the Red Sea. About two thousand years ago Petra became the capital of the Nabatean Empire. The city was so renowned that one of its kings, Aretas IV, is even mentioned in the Bible. The natural richness of the mountainous area combines in a superb way with the refined culture and massive architecture of the Nabateans, who carved their theatre, temples, façades, tombs, monasteries, houses a nd roads entirely i nto the rose-red sandstone rocks. No wonder UNESCO placed Petra on its World Heritage List one enters Petra by passing the Siq, a deep and narrow gorge, at the end of which all of a sudden dramatically appears the most famous monument in Petra: al-Khazneh or the Treasury. Maybe you will recognize it as the stage of the final sequence of the movie ‘Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade’. But the Treasury is just the start. Walking and climbing in Petra hundreds of buildings carved in stone and eroded through the centuries into fabulous multi-colored walls will be revealed to you. overnight in hotel

Day 7: Petra – Wadi Arava – Lot’s cave – Amman

Breakfast in the hotel. Leaving Petra heading north to Amman, via Wadi Arava First stop will be at lot’s cave, the biblical story tells of Lot and his family escaping from the un-righteous cities of Sodom and Gommorah. Lot’s wife looked back, and turned to a pillar of salt. The cave that the family took refuge in became a shrine. Most of an ancient monastery built in front of the cave has crumbled down the hill due to earthquakes. Driving all the way north till you reach Amman –,be ready to be transferred to the hotel for &overnight.

Day 8:  Amman – Airport (Departure day)

After breakfast: meet our representative again and drive to Airport for final departure
