Jordan Experts Announces the Return of Direct Flights from Poland to Aqaba and the Launch of the Winter Tourism Season
Jordan Experts for Tourism has announced the return of direct flights from Poland to King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba after a pause of over two and a half years. The first flight will take off on Tuesday, officially opening the winter tourism season in Aqaba, with weekly flights continuing until April 2026.

This initiative highlights strong public-private partnerships aimed at boosting tourism to Aqaba, the Golden Triangle (Aqaba – Wadi Rum – Petra), and the Dead Sea through a direct air bridge, strengthening Jordan’s presence in the Polish and European markets.
Support from Authorities
Saleh Hilalat, General Manager of Jordan Experts, emphasized the support from the Jordan Tourism Board, the Ministry of Tourism, and the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority. He noted that the new flights mark a positive turning point, promising a strong winter tourism season while showcasing Jordan as a safe, stable, and hospitable destination.

King Hussein International Airport is fully prepared, coordinating with security, civil authorities, and service providers to ensure smooth arrivals and reflect the country’s renowned hospitality.
Weekly Tours Covering Petra, Wadi Rum, and Aqaba
Each flight will carry about 190 Polish tourists who will spend a week in Aqaba enjoying programs that include Petra, Wadi Rum, and Red Sea activities, supporting both tourism and the local economy.
